Travel around Kyoto in your own private vehicle and explore some of the city’s most famous temples, traditional streets and scenic areas at your own pace. This tour is ideal for couples, families and small groups who want a convenient and comfortable way to experience Kyoto in one day. Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Kyoto and take you to the city’s major attractions, including Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Ninenzaka & Sannenzaka, Fushimi Inari Taisha, Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and Togetsukyo Bridge. Suggested 8-Hour Itinerary 09:00 – Hotel Pick-up in Kyoto city or Osaka city Meet your driver at your hotel and start your private Kyoto tour. 09:30 – Kiyomizu-dera Temple Visit one of Kyoto’s most famous temples and enjoy beautiful views over the historic city. 10:30 – Ninenzaka & Sannenzaka Walk through charming traditional streets filled with historic buildings, local shops, cafés and tea houses. 11:30 – Fushimi Inari Taisha Discover one of Kyoto’s most iconic shrines and walk through the famous vermilion torii gates. 13:00 – Lunch Break Enjoy approximately one hour for lunch at a local restaurant. Meals are not included in the tour price. 14:00 – Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion) Visit Kyoto’s spectacular Golden Pavilion and enjoy the beautiful surrounding Japanese garden. 15:00 – Arashiyama Bamboo Grove Walk through the famous bamboo forest and experience the peaceful atmosphere of Arashiyama. 16:00 – Togetsukyo Bridge & Arashiyama Area Enjoy scenic views of the Katsura River, Togetsukyo Bridge and the surrounding mountains. 17:00 – Return to Hotel The tour ends with drop-off at your hotel or another agreed location in Kyoto.
